Casein. Carmine. Shellac. L-cysteine. The names that hide animal products are designed to be ignored. ScanVegan reads them for you — every name, every language — and translates the answer into a single word.
01 — Barcode
Open Food Facts indexes more than three million products. Scan a barcode and most known SKUs are recognized before you've finished lifting the box.
02 — Label OCR
Snap the back of the package. The model parses ingredients in more than thirty languages, then checks each one against a continuously-maintained dictionary.
03 — Dish
Pad thai with fish sauce. Saag with ghee. Risotto finished with parmesan. Point the camera at the plate and the model flags the usual suspects before you take a bite.
04 — Menu
